After cooking meat in a pot on a gas stove, I found that the pot was not losing heat and was making my character overheat. It was still at the red heat level after running from Severograd to Stary Yar.

Steps To Reproduce
Attach gas cooker to medium gas cylinder and pot to assembled stove. Cook meat. Turn off stove and store stove with pot attached in pack. After any amount of time place the stove on the ground and note temperature of stove.
