It is possible to walk, or crouch-walk backwards through the walls of treestands and green steel towers; this happens most easily in the corners. This has also happened at agricultural feeding huts, though it is non-fatal.

Climb ladder into hunters' treestand. Turn to face ladder. Walk backwards.

Pretty simple here. Areas that appear to have walls will not contain player movements in a manner consistent with the expected behavior of said walls. This easily leads to broken legs and frustratingly unwarranted deaths.
