Plate Carrier consumes items
Closed, ResolvedPublic

I gathered all the necessary parts to build the completed version the plate carrier vest. However I found if you have an item stored in said vest and you wish to swap it for something equipt it will delete the item going in the vest.

Items on the ground will not be deleted, but rather stay on the ground.

Example: I tend to carry 2 tops/jackets. 1 for camo/protection and the other to stay dry (rain jacket). I had just logged in and noticed it was raining. I had my rain coat (2 slots horizontal) in my plate carrier complete set and dragged my emptied tan tactical shirt (1 slot) over it (getting the light blue option to swap). This resulted in me wearing the rain jacket and my tac shirt being deleted.

Now I chalked it up to bad luck and snagged a brown hoodie not long after. Once the rain stopped however I made the same mistake putting away my rain coat forever more.

Steps To Reproduce

1: Assemble the completed plate carrier (its final form)

2: Swap a top (shirt or jacket) that you have equipt with one already in the plate carrier

3: Watch it vanish

I imagine this is what happend to my pistol mags too. Had extra in the vest and did fast reload (hit R) and it went missing when I looked at my inventory to reload.

Also both my vest (with holster) and the pouches were damaged. I attached them and then repaired to worn with my leather sewing kit. After relogging it was prestine. Thought it odd, but not necessarily a bad thing.

Keep up the great work!

I have encountered the same thing, expect for a fast reloaded of clips but i have since moved them out. Just make sure you remove the item out of the pouches to a different container (jacket/pants/backpack) then move the item you want to add to the free spot in the pouches.
