Sick status from infected wound incurable.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Was fighting a Zombie and received an infected wound message in the bottom left corner along with a "sick" condition in my inventory screen after being hit by a zombie. I discovered I can't apply Tincture to the wound and upon taking antibiotics my energized and hydrated status went away but my sick status remained..

Additional Information

I was also wet
I was inside a house when I took the antibiotics
I took a stack of six antibiotic pills (each usage consumed two pills)
The antibiotics were inside my pants when being used
Playing on a persistence server
The antibiotics were damaged but not ruined
I also took charcoal tabs and nothing happened.
Someone suggested I make my character vomit as it cured their sickness from eating a worm, I will report back if that works.

andy, can you keep this post open (maybe with "need more information")?
i'm pretty sure, cureing infections does not work sometimes
(i spent 4 hrs to reproduce it yesterday and get it recorded, but didn't even get an infection and then got one hitted by a zombie even though i wasn't to low at blood)

finally caught it on tape

~ 0:35 hydration status changes (no status lagg)
~ 1:00 stiching up leads to infection and purges all other statuses
also no medication helps
~ 2:45 relogging removes all hydration/energy

Not to sound bitchy, but i told ya:

it just goes to stage 4. it will get cured eventually if you use right medication.
