I think this crash is more down to my system configuration than the game itself - though at no point does the performance speed suffer before a crash. It just drops out entirely.
My graphics card is a GeForce GTX 560 Ti. Will buy a new one soon as I'm pretty sure that's the problem. Shall report back when i do.
Unfortunately you'd probably need to be on my PC as the first step is: play DayZ, followed by crashing :(
