When I spawn into a server with the SKS in my hand (PU-scope on it) and the Mosin on my back (with a LR-scope on it) I regularly get this glitch where zooming down the PU-scope causes me to look at my fist.
Taking off the PU-scope and putting it back on does not resolve the matter
I actually have to put the PU-scope on my Mosin, then take it off again and put it back on my SKS.

How to fix:
Take Mosin in hands
Put LR-scope on ground or inventory
Put PU-scope on Mosin
Put Mosin back onto back
Take SKS in hands
Put PU-scope on SKS
Zoom in with PU scope
Have the same issue. Only I have an ak101 with pso on my back and a mosin with the pu. When I look tru the pu scope I see my hand closed up.
So its not just the sks with the pu buy also the mosin
Thanks for the info. It seems that spawning with the PU-scope in hands is bugged, in that case.
How do you fix your issue, when you get it?
I just dumped the mosin since I could not fix it. Taking the pu of and on didnt fixed the bug so no mosing :(
I think you could have avoided the bug by "spawning in" to the server with the AK in your hands and Mosin on back.
Would have been good to know more about the bug.

Same issue here.
I solve the problem by logging out then back into another server. Seems to resolve most of the time

sadly, I was not able to reproduce this problem. Have you always been able to reproduce it with the repro steps ColonelBurton has provided? There might be something else coming into play.

Next time I get an SKS and PU scope I will check it out again and upload a clip to youtube.
Same problem. Carrying a shotgun on back, magnum as handgun and sks with pu scope in hands. When I load in with the sks in hand w/ pu scope attached, the pu scope is rendered unusable and does the hand view thing. Andy, you may need to have a gun on your back and another withe the scope in your hands when u load in.
Seems for me it's just the initial load in. Second load in after game launch fixed issue.
ive had this issue many times... what i do to fix it is remove the item from the weapon into my bag, log out, then log back in and re attach the item.... all fixed....
its like its trying to look down the iron sight
