Pressing 'Check the Bait' provides no message every few attempts.

Description

UPDATE: 0.49.124972

'Check the bait' now provides an empty message every 2 or 3 attempts. Checking the bait twice is not optimal as it scares away the fish, forcing you to start from the 'beginning' of the fishing mechanic.

UPDATE: 0.49.124972

  1. Start fishing with an Improvised Fishing Rod.
  2. Press 'Check the Bait' at different intervals(between 20 and 40 seconds each).
  3. Observe messages such as "I sense no movement near the bait" etc.
  4. Notice no message provided at varying intervals(every 1 to 3) when pressing 'Check the Bait.' Forcing you to check it again and scaring away the fish as a result.
Additional Information

Screenshot #1 - No longer applicable to the updated issue.
Screenshot #2 - The 'Check the Bait' animation despite no message provided in the chat. (Note the 'I am cooling off' message after the fishing message. As the animation was happening during the screenshot, another fishing message was supposed to come after the temperature message.)

UPDATE: 0.49.124972

The "Something has just bit the bait!" now works as intended, though there are still random instances of 'Check the bait' bringing up no message whatsoever, forcing you to check the bait again and promptly scaring away the fish.

It possibly could be as a result of server performance, though I am not sure.

Hi TiredMiner,
as you say, this could be caused by high latency and I was not able to reproduce the issue. Please feel free to create a new ticket if this happens often enough to be detrimental to your experience.
Thank you,
Andy
