Sound Not Working For DayZ

Description

The Problem I encountered was the sound not working for DayZ at all. I made sure that everything on my side was cleared before posting this bug report. All Devices are updated with their current drivers and my sound is working properly for everything except DayZ. I have Re-installed DirectX and even went as far as re-installing my entire Operating system. Nothing has helped. I've looked online for a solution but have not been successful. This may be a 1st.

P.S. The current version is 0.48.124737

Hi,

please upload your dxdiag file for us to have a look at.

You can get your dxdiag file thusly:

Open the Start menu
Type "dxdiag"
Press Enter
Click "Save All Information"
Upload the resulting file here

Everything seems to be in order as far as hardware configuration is concerned. Can you please check if the issue persists if you use speakers or a different set of headphones?

After an Hour or so of testing.
My research shows that only Speakers work for the game. I tried 2 different Headsets(Both operating perfectly) and found failure with them both. Only the speakers worked when set as the default device.

I can't come up with a logical conclusion to the problem. Hopefully this information will aid you.
