Go to to the wall you want to look trough and turn your back towards it, go near as possible. Sit down. Now you can look trough the wall in first person freelook with looking behind you.

Possible cause: When you sit your character glitches with his back into the wall. Animation related. There could be more glitches with animation related movement.
