I have managed to get rid of my crashes i think. Have played for over an hour now. As i said before it crashed in a matter of seconds from the point i had spawned.
I have and AMD rig. 1100T CPU and HD7870 GPU, 16 gig ram. I had DayZ installed on my external USB 3.0 Seagate HDD. What i did was to move the game to my internal 250GB SSD and install the latest AMD beta GPU driver 14.7. Now i can play at the same graphics as before without a crash in over an hour.

Can it be related to the slow access of the HDD that caused it maybe?

EDIT: 3 hours and counting.

I have noticed something with this. It always crashes when the graphics are intense and when traveling in graphic intense areas, such as cities. But if i lower everything to the lowest settings, it actually does not crash. I experience sudden stuttering and lag from time to time, but it deos not crash. However, if i increase the detail of, say the textures, these occasional lags eventually turns out to crash the game. As if it gets overloaded or something. I can increase the graphics and play as long as i look down into the ground. But if i look up it's only a matter of seconds until it lags into a crash.

I have this issue as well. But for me it's a matter of seconds. Running 64 bit windows 7 AMD rig, both CPU and GPU. I didn't have this issue with 0.46.
