In a semi desperate state I tried to switch to a server that I played on recently by going to the server history. When I logged on to one of the past servers I played on, I had all my gear and character back! But unfortunately I could no longer switch weapons, and when I right click on any of the gear in my inventory it just shows "Receiving..." indefinitely. I have a feeling this is some kind of synchronization issue with the hive rather than the server going unresponsive.

I know, I know... never get attached to your gear ... still a huge a bummer. :(

Just happened to me. Had a m4a1 with tricked out optics and other attachments, military vest/clothing, over 300+ rounds, gasmask, head light, backpack full of medical supplies and food... relogged because I was tweaking the config file to optimize FPS and see if I could get windowed mode to work. So unbelievably depressed now, lol.
