I fixed it! I downloaden windows 8.1 and it worked
@_M4Z_TeR_ Nope. didn't work :P
And also I have GameTracker on my PC (if you don't know what it is you probaly can't help me but i'll explain as best as I can) GameTracker normally indicates if im in game, like when I start Arma II it makes a sound, but when you quit the game it makes a different sound.
Whenever I lauch DayZ I hear the sound of the game starting up, and still on the black loading screen I already hear the sound as if the game quit.
I think whenever I launch DayZ it won't be able to connect to the internet. So my GameTracker thinks I quit DayZ because it didn't connect to the GameTracker servers...
@Phyma I don't have any lauch parameters, so I still don't know the problem :P and my normal RAM is 8GB
@_M4Z_TeR lol we already had a large convorsation on your post, remember?
@DelayedReaction no when I click on "play" or "change server" it freezes and I need to force close it.
@Phyma my Vram is 1792 MB if i'm correct and is the -maxMem a option on DayZ or for my PC?
Ok, thx I uploaded it, hope it will work in the next update!
@Kira I'm sorry, but what is a DxDiag report?
@Kira, didn't work after the 0.44 update, I uploaded the file.
Thanks
Hoped they had fixed it but still after the update (0.44) i still have the same problem.
Nope, didn't work :P I changed the settings, the message popped up, restarted the game, but when I click'd the change server button it still froze.
I guess I'll just wait 'till the next patch :(
Yeah I did, and it DID ask for restart but than didn't work :(
Can't seem to find out what I should change... You got any tips?
Normally ARMA II runs on high quality with a solid 20 fps
Ok thanks, i'll go try iit out!
Happeneds to me too, I just bought it and it doesn't work :(
