Yes I am on ASUS as well. I am so happy you made it working! @mush,i had the same issue. It never came to my mind that the zip would be the answer if exe didnt work! I will try it out on monday right away. Thank you so much for help :)

Dude. Even if he will download new drivers from intel side as I did. It wont let install them... also the intel driver update tool wont work.. i have the same issue

@LeFlow I have the same problem :/ I will be at my laptop on monday and hopefully I will find a solution. Inhave the same version of Intel HD Graphics 4000 as you and a gforce 740M as well :D

@PFPowah,now this is interresting. Could you please the version of you Intel HD Graphics card? Exact version and the driver that you have installed? Based on that it can be maybe related to older versions of Intel HD Graphics driver versions. Unfortunately, I cannot update mine,since the manufacturer doesnt support it and ones from Intel site dont work :/ Maybe you already tried,but if not,please try to update your driver and let us know.

Okay so.. I just succesfully launched Arma 3... I think we all must have laptops with 2 GPUs. Since even you set everything in settings to use NVIDIA (orany other NO INTEGRATED graphic card), the Arma still uses Integrated... And here is the source of the error..

I have tried to sfc scan my os,repaired the corrupted system files,but it didnt help. Also tried to restore my OS to day before the A3 update was released (when the game worked for me),then updated the game again. Same result. I also installed all the Windows updates for my OS. Nothing helps

Not considering it a rare case at all, the video has been in making long before the release and was/is being handled by a completely different department of the development team, crashes are being worked on ;)

It was definately some different error... I have GT750M and nothing helps.. It doesnt have to do anyhthing with DirectX.. I would suspect its more hardware related.. Some type of graphic cards or chipsets are not support by this new 64bit executables... Shame on them that they didnt tested it properly before forcing the update to everyone... Insane...

Same problem here.. I ve spent 2 days with trying to fix this.. Tried literarly everything... Is it possible to claim back all the Arma3 related purchases?
