No problem man :) Well, the last thing I can come up with: try to join different (and also "unoffical") servers, so your character can be wiped as it is a frequent bug. Hope this will help :)

That sucks :/ I'm not sure if this bug still exists, but you could get your character deleted/respawned by changing your steam-name. Apparently this was an issue two weeks ago. Try that :)

Had the same "problem" when I first started to play DayZ. Just walk towards the sun (usually it's SE or SW, depending on daytime) as you mentioned that you travelled too far to the north. Worked for me.

Also, the cylinder always shows 6 bullets, no matter if it's loaded or not. Not a big issue, but well..
