First of all, this could be because one server does not have a proper connection to a public hive, ergo, it could be your fault that your character was 'reset'.
It might not be reset so try a couple other servers and see if your character is still there.

Finally got it working. Turns out files were missing from the game itself. Note to self: Validate Games so they are ensured to work. Can a mod check this off as solved?

So it actually did work when I decided to check out what was wrong and sadly, it was sort of what I expected. My internet was causing me to desync so bad that it caused a freeze, but here's a funny quirk. That was during night time, my time. Not only that, it actually worked BETTER during the day time, so I'm going to have to contact my service provider. Either way, keep note of this and if anyone runs into the same incident, report your findings here.
