This happened to me alot. I get geared up, or I'm looking for loot, when suddenly the server restarts. When I join another server after that, I get a new character, destroying my old one and it's inventory. It seems as if the game suspects me of server hopping, and therefore punishes me by killing my character.

I'm having huge desync / teleporting back when in towns / cities since the last update. Never had any problems, untill now. For me it's unplayable at the moment. Also, when I'm having desync, some of the times my character is suddenly dead (even in empty servers).

Agreed, this happens after a melee knockdown.
