You can try to validate the integrity of game files by right clicking DayZ within steam and going to properties.
On the new window that opens within Steam goto the Local Files tab and click Verify integrity of game.
That resolved it today after Eugene said on twitter a new client side update was rolling out. I tried this fix previously and it hadnt worked. Good luck.

Just an update to this ticket. I saw that Eugene had posted on twitter about an incoming client side patch. I verified game cache and the issue seems to be fixed. Thanks for the help and you can close the ticket.

I have uploaded both, the Dxdiag as well as the appdata folder to AppData_Dayz_Contents1.7z. I 7zipped it as it was over the size limit. Please let me know if there is anything else needed.

The only other thing I can add to this is that a friend has size on disk: 9,121,304,576 bytes of data contained in "<Install Drive>:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ" where as I have 9,201,242,112 bytes.
Reading through some other fixes, I tried to run DayZ from the D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\DayZ folder and received a "DayZ has stopped working" error. Problem details when expanded on are:
