Seems as if I have resolved this issue as of right now; what I did to fix(?),

Logged in, noticed I was a fresh spawn
Found a zombie, let him kill me
Re-spawned, looted Berenzino, logged off in safe spot - took a break
Logged in on a server, had my gear on me still.
