Hello. I also was plagued by this issue or one like it for about a week of playing now. I believe I recently have got mine to work. I will keep testing it to see if it stays working. I had to fix my settings in-game but this is how I got mine to stop currently.

• Opened steam
• Right clicked on DayZ and went to properties
• Clicked on "Installed Files" then "Verify integrity of game files"
• I clicked all the options that appeared there and let it run its course
