Yes pretty sure i tried to wait for one in a house, once it hit me in the house i ran for the door closed it and then no more hitting, i trapped it like a zombie, so i think zombies are bugged since the last update they did 17/07/2025. Same kind of problems apparently happened back in 2019. Players were reporting about that

Got the same problem with a lot of guns, we all get that, thats a shame nothing is done about it
