Well at least its consistent. No audio devices and it runs. Any Audio device, even usb speaker crashes it.

all sound devices disabled and it works.

Just updated to the Nvidia beta drivers 314.14 and it has solved my issue

Tried the -nobenchmark and adding beta dev to the steam options. Still the same crash

updated Graphics driver, same
reinstalled DX, Same

To confirm its definatly the Asus Xonar DG thats causing the problem, Updating to the latest Offical drivers hasn't sorted my issue.

Ill use on board for now.

edit: seems like it isnt. All my sound devices crash my game. regardless of driver version

From a process of elimination I've Worked out its my sound drivers(disabling devices in device manager, try and load, disable another device, dry and load etc). Asus Xonar DX. Updating and will report back when i have updated.

Tried to backup and reinstall game, same issue.

Found I had not much space left on my C drive, Removed some stuff but still crashes at the same point.

would be usefull for the arma3.rpt file to be uploaded.
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Arma 3 Alpha

you may need to show hidden folders to see appdata, inside is a .rpt file that can be opened in notepad. cut paste or upload

what sound card do you have, does your issue match mine?
