Adding female soldier models would be seen as a goodwill gesture to women in general and particularly feminists and women's rights activists. That would almost certainly translate into increased sales, easily enough to outweigh the handful of manchildren who pass up on an awesome game for committing the sin against the patriarchy of having *gasp* female soldiers!
