My guess is there will be a development build on Monday.
I would like to see this too. Think that shouldn't be hard to implement.
Just had this kind of crash again in 0174 dev build.
Happened also directly after loading last save game. As sharpshifter already mentioned, my lander had also multiple part failures before I've loaded my save game.

Same goes with Gamma Settings in the options.
Reproduce steps:
- Load game and change gamma settings in options menu.
- Alt+Tab and go back into game (or reload save). -> Gamma settings are back to normal but slider in the options menu is still in 'new' position.
- Bug?
