Oh my good golly gosh, this thread.
First of all, @Zombo, "they have to pass the same tests as men"? Are you serious? For all branches of the US Military, women have different standards than men when it comes to PT tests. For example, in the army, the minimum push-ups a male has to do is 42, while the minimum for women is 19. Men have to run two miles in 15:54 minutes, while women have to run at 18:54. Do your research.
Secondly, @Kumenda, diversity is not a reason to add women into ARMA, if someone is not playing it because they can't play as a women, I say fuck them. They are missing the point of the series, which is all about using military tactics and weaponry, not what gender your character is.
I am not against adding women into Arma, but they should add it in AFTER the game is finished. Right now, they need to focus on fixing bugs, adding new gameplay features, etc. Making new models for women, with new voices, faces, animations, etc. would take way too much time and resources right now.
