Yes, I do have an nvidia gpu, my friend doesn't have the problem but I don't know his computer's hardware specs, he just watches my back when it happens, and I haven't noticed any specific correlation between an action of mine and it messing up, it just happens sometimes, I'm also on experimental though.

But yeah this problem makes the game really hard to play.

And I didn't see the second part, but I can't even use task manager, I have to log out in the windows 8 ctrl+alt+delete screen

That's not the same problem I'm having, mine WON'T come back at all, but I can still hear it playing, and my mouse won't show up but I can only see my desktop.

It happened again today as I was playing on an experimental server, and to clarify this was the first time I had played since the last time it crashed like this a couple weeks ago.

Also the 0's, the 39, and the :, but not the 10 at the end, is supposed to be the approximate symbol, i.e. the tilde.

Maybe, but mine won't come back up at all, alt+tabbing doesn't work, clicking on the icon doesn't work... nothing I've tried that would normally make a minimized window come back hasn't worked.
