Maybe, but mine won't come back up at all, alt+tabbing doesn't work, clicking on the icon doesn't work... nothing I've tried that would normally make a minimized window come back hasn't worked.

Also the 0's, the 39, and the :, but not the 10 at the end, is supposed to be the approximate symbol, i.e. the tilde.

Please let us know in the note section if you are still able to reproduce this issue on the latest Development build.

If so, please send us a dxdiag report and files from this folder: "C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\"

It happened again today as I was playing on an experimental server, and to clarify this was the first time I had played since the last time it crashed like this a couple weeks ago.

same to me and my GF.
We had it also in some other posts. But i don't find it again. It was not from my posted as the author.
Sometimes i see that steam "repairs"(?) an file of Nvidea.
Yesterday it happens 6 times (3 each of us).

That's not the same problem I'm having, mine WON'T come back at all, but I can still hear it playing, and my mouse won't show up but I can only see my desktop.

But yeah this problem makes the game really hard to play.

And I didn't see the second part, but I can't even use task manager, I have to log out in the windows 8 ctrl+alt+delete screen

you have a nvidea too?
I'm absolute sure that the game crashed the nvidea-kernal and steam restore/restart/reactivate(?) it.
Most times it happens when i press "alt" and look to my side or i zoom.
Other player watch the same?
And it happens almost in the worstest situations.

Yes, I do have an nvidia gpu, my friend doesn't have the problem but I don't know his computer's hardware specs, he just watches my back when it happens, and I haven't noticed any specific correlation between an action of mine and it messing up, it just happens sometimes, I'm also on experimental though.

I have been having this issue also, on exp and stable also using nvidia gpu i tried rolling back drivers tried beta drivers still having issues
