Description

Hello,

My problem is simple to explain but I can't find a solution. I bought DayZ today and instaled it whithout any problems but now when I try to play the game I have a 3 seconds black screen Before the error message "some damaged files detected". I have verified the cache of the game and the problem persist.

Please, a solution?

Hey

Are you still able to play the game after the message or the game crashes? Did you try to reinstall the game?

No, I can't play the game after the message. I didn't try to reinstall the game, I prefer to search a better solution before...

Edit: I just begin the reinstallation of the game, more than 5hours to do, I give you some news when it's done but I don't believe it will work...

I've tried to launch a new installation of the game but the bug is always here... I can't play the game.

Hello again

Could you please send us a dxdiag report and files from this folder: "C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\" ?

If the *.rar is smaller than 5.000KB, you can attach it here.
In case it's larger than that, please try uploading it to a file sharing website and link it here.

I saw an upload but there is no change. How many time do you think I'll have to wait?

Hey,

this problem should be fixed in the next update that comes out. No ETA on when that will be at the moment, but when it happens, you should be fine!
