Hi,
thanks for your information, however I will have to ask you to re-upload a new set of the crashdumps.
First, please make sure you are playing on the experimental build of the game.
Then delete the contents of your AppData folder.
Run DayZ.
Reproduce the crash once again.
Go to your AppData folder and pack the newly generated files into a new archive.
Re-upload them here.
Thanks a lot!
Hey, I deleted the files and reproduced the crash. The uploaded file should work for you now : - )
Interestingly enough: It took longer to crash after I deleted the files. Originally, it was crashing consistently while I would play on a server until reset and when I would join a new one it would crash on the "please wait" screen during the player list loading.
This time, I was able to join and play through 2 server resets when it crashed while I was in mid game. No session lost.
Also, I found the rubber-banding to be almost non-existent except in Novo where it was better than a week ago when a lot of people were playing. All of the servers that I played on had 15-26 people signed in.
Hope it helps!
Quick question: Is it a good idea to upload my crash dump files every time it crashes? Because that is going to be a lot. Also, if I should upload every time, is it better to do it here or create a new issue.
Hey
This issue should be fixed after updating the game to the latest version. Please test the game and let us know if its fixed in your case.
If not, please provide us with new crash dumps.
Thank You!
Hey
Glad to hear that. Please keep testing the game and do not hesitate to report any more crashes or bugs if found.
Thank You!
