Not always but sometimes i see zombies going trough walls like it's nothing.
I first saw this in a SE construction site, when a zombie went through the wall running towards me. I am also being chased inside houses all doors locked, seeing how the zombies get into the house going trough the walls.
I also tested once if zombies can open doors. While being chased by a zombie with 20m of advantage, i closed a tall blue metal fence of a garden, and the zombie went trough it like it's nothing.
I don't know if this affects all zombies/players or it is just a random bug but try it:
This is a very well known issue. They are currently working on it.
And MAYBE... with the next patch, we will have more intelligent zombies.

I don't know. But here you can find detailed information about the new zombie AI.

Constantly an issue with me every time I play. Zombies go through walls, doors, gates, everything. Even if you go into a house and close 3-4 doors they still follow you. Huge turn off to playing considering the last three times I respawned this happened immediately and I had to start over again.
My tip: stop playing until the next patch =)

It's very hard because it's a very cool game, yes. But the next patch is coming very soon.

Thanks for the report, however zombies clipping through objects is a known issue.
