When reporting a crash you need to upload a dxdiag report and the files from
C:/Users/<Name>/AppData/Local/DayZ/

Pack the files into a .rar file - if the RAR is smaller than 5000KB, you can attach it here. If it's larger, please upload it to a file sharing website and link it here.

For future reports please refer to the "How to guide"

I had the same issue, after extensive testing it turns out my PSU had been damaged during a power surge, thus the GPU does not get enough power and you loose your video settings as a result.

had it too, uploaded report
I often get "session lost", then try to join another server. When connecting to a new server my game freezes and I get a game crash message on the background. When I then restart the game and join a server all my settings are lost.

its not your psu dude

Yea, I didnt think it would be my GPU not getting enough power. But you got me worried there VirtuaStig.

And why is it still on "need more info"
Did I miss anything or have they just not updated it yet?

It was never my intention, But I only started getting this issue when I lost my PSU, After replacing the PSU my PC run's great and so does DayZ.

In my case the PC ran fine until I get to the Dayz menu (happened in all games) and then I would get a sound like a buzz with my screen telling me that it has no signal and the GPU fan would just spin full speed, I have a 750W PSU but it was only giving out 500W(Damaged). when I enter dayz again all my video settings are reset.

That was just me maybe yours is cheaper to repair. :)
