Description

Hi,

My name is Anthony Pisano and my son absolutely LOVES Day Z.

Now, he went to play MULTIPLAYER yesterday an it said "A new update is available" and to go to Arma2 website for the down load.

I did that, I downloaded the Zip file, extracted all the files and ran the Install Application. ...but it's not working. Every time he goes back to play it gives him the same problem.

he always chooses "Run with Beta" patch.

Then, I uninstalled the entire Day Z game and re-installed it

(I use STEAM).....re-ran the patch update above again, and still have the same problem

I use Win 7 with a 64 bit Operating System.

Please advise what to do.

If you have a complete install w/ updates to send me, just e-mail me a zip file and I will uninstall and re-install complete if that's easier.

Arma2 Website?
This is the standalone version and not the mod. This are two different games. Sorry for that, but it can't work

This is DayZ the game and costs 24€, http://store.steampowered.com/app/221100/.
It sounds like your son is playing the old free fan-made mod version of ArmA 2, DayZMod, http://store.steampowered.com/app/224580/ http://www.dayzmod.com/.

The latest version of DayZMod can be downloaded and played from Steam directly for free if you own a copy of ArmA 2:CO on the same account, from http://store.steampowered.com/app/224580/

The latest version can also be downloaded and installed manually to an existing installment of ArmA 2:CO, and the latest ArmA 2 Beta patch respectively from:

Hi,

It seems that your son is playing the DayZ mod for ARMA II. Unfortunately, this site is for the standalone DayZ game so we cannot provide support.
