We are still working on this issue, but here are some advices how to prevent the crashing:

We recommend lower resolution of the game from 1920 x 1080, and also lower all of graphic settings.
Turn off all programs, anti-viruses, browser applications etc.

Note that it is only temporary solution we will get back to you as soon as we fix it completely.

i will try it, in the meantime i think i have seen that this happens almost when switching between hardcore/regular servers!

but 1. i dont have any anti virus progs 2. i have all progs cloes 3. i play at normal detail level ... but maybe i try with lower resolution as 1920x1080

but the last days i hadnt one singel crash.. and i was just playing in regular, not switching hardcore/regular mode! - maybe this is it - but i will test today and tell you

nope - i play all the time at 1440x900 and i got constantly the crashes, but mostly after playing some time, and its also NOT the mode, i just played regular, switched some servers and i got the crahes

maybe it have something to do when you login or logout on a server, i think most the time its after one of this two events

could it be that the new messagin system is doing the crashes?

I only have this problem since the last update, so a new messaging system could be the cause, i dont know. I already am playing it on very low settings, didnt do anything.

I often get "session lost", then try to join another server. When connecting to the new server my game freezes and I get a game crash message on the background. When I then restart the game and join a server all my settings are lost.

Uploaded reports, strangely it compressed my mdmp file from 10mb to 1 mb, is this normal?

i've played a lot on regular, just got sometimes crashes, now yesterday i played 2 hours on hardcore and got 4-5 chrashes! this sucks really

there were some efforts to fix the problem in the latest Experimental patch. Please try connecting to an Experimental server to see if you still experience this problem.

In case you do, please do the following:

1. Exit the game
2. Go to your AppData folder
3. Delete your .mdmp, .bidmp and .rpt files
4. Run the game and try to get the game crash again
5. Go to your AppData folder
6. Once again pack all the files into a .zip/.rar archive and upload it here

If you submit new crash dumps, we will have a second look at the problem.

me and those how i am playing whit have this issue all the time.
But we are playing the Experimental Build. So we thought the problem was already known. Du to the first Note here were not sure about that anymore.

So my question is, should i open a new report about the experimental test, or wasnt Kira mean the Exp-Build as he said Dev-Build above?
Or maybe there is alreay a main Report for the Exp-Build and i can't fint it because there is no filter option for the latest Exp ther is only 0.44.123800 and older.
I'm asking here because this report has the most votes.

because i think the crashes still happens, yesterday i got plenty.. sometimes the crash got up with a message from win7 that to little memory is available

and i deleted the whole dayz folder some days ago and it didint helped.. ok the new little patch for the experimental branch werent online to this time.. i try.. and let you know..

Could you open a separate issue? It just gets a bit confusing with multiple people adding crash dumps onto a single ticket.

The files you need to upload are located in
C:/Users/<Name>/AppData/Local/DayZ/

You'll also need to add a dxdiag report.

PS: the crashes are still there.. but on my system it could be, because i have ~2gb ram avail. for the game.. :/
