This bug is starting to get very annoying I just died as my screen went black and minimized just before I got attacked by a zed. By the time I got back in my character was all fucked up then died from bleeding as all my kit was ruined. This bug is starting to reproduce itself more often thus making the game almost unplayable. Can you look into this as it has been reported on other posts over the last month.

Yes fing, we are constantly looking into this, please be patient. Crashing has a major priority and will be fixed ASAP.

I can confirm (for me and some friends) this sometimes happens:

1. Game minimizes
2. you can see your desktop but not get back into the game
3. you can still move and hear everything, but just see your desktop although the game is open

Thanks for the update Kira. I sent you the files you that you asked MiCaCtus for. I hope they help. By the way I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed 335.23 as of the 10/4/2014.
