Default sounddevice change not recognized by the game
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

In case of multiple Sound Cards installed or multiple Audio Channels the Change will not be recognized by DayZ.
In my case it is a Logitech Gaming Headset G35 that comes with a build in soundcard. Changing the default device in the sound option of the operation system from Motherboard sound slot to Logitech Headset for playback and recording will not change the Soundchannels in game unless the game is restarted. The game will always play the device that was used upon start of dayz.exe

Hi,

this is not a bug. The sound devices are scanned upon the launch of the game.

If you want to change your sound device, do it prior to launching the game.
