I experience this same problem frequently on some servers, but not others.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. Could you try out the following steps please?

1. Restart/power cycle your router and reboot your pc.
2. Start Steam and right click on DayZ in your game library (make sure that the game is not running).
3. Select the tab labeled "Local Files".
4. Click on the button labeled "Verify integrity of game cache...".
5. Restart your pc once the process is complete.

I am experiencing this Problem too. After 10-20 Seconds on any Server my desync jumps to something over 300 and i get the "Authentication Timeout" Error Message. I already tried the Steps above, but it didn´t help. I tried a few Servers and got the same message over and over again. This only happens to characters with whom i have played with before. If i manage to kill my character in the few seconds i got, everything is fine. Until i want to play on the next day. Then i get the error again. (Version 0.55.127157)
