Bug reporting site additional features needed
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

***This is a MINOR issue, but could help in the development process.

This bug reporting site could use some additional features:

When a ticket is closed generally a developer makes a commend. Sometimes a follow up is needed because the statement the developer made might be incorrect or not see a potential issue.
-Comments should be left enabled on 'closed tickets' (i.e. perhaps flag issues as resolved, and close them after a period of inactivity).
-There could be a private message feature enabled so that we can follow up with anyone (including developers) on a closed ticket.

Notes should have uploads enabled. Right now if you have an occurrence of a posted issue that happens in a slightly different way, you need to submit a whole new ticket (which then gets closed and flagged as a duplicate). being able to add screenshots to notes to existing tickets could make the moderators and developers lives much easier.

For example:
A dev stated that zombie corpses are removed since they cant be looted. He then closed the ticket.

However, when zombie corpses persisting will notify players that another player has been at that location (which would add realism).

Hi,

closed ticket is closed for a reason. It was decided by me or my colleagues that there is no other interaction needed on the topic of the issue. If we do feel like there is need for a discussion we will use some of the other statuses (need more info, feedback, reviewed).

In regard to your example, zombies will eventually stay after being killed. At this point there are two main reasons to them not staying - no loot is gained from them and it decreases the strain on servers.

It could be argued that the fact that there are no zombies present inside a city is a clear enough indication that someone is/was around.

In this example, another post from a reporter would not bring anything new to the table and only waste time.

Believe me that when we close issues, they should be closed. If you feel otherwise, feel free to submit another report, but think twice about whether or not it is needed.

Thank you for your feedback!

Have a great day.
