Can't change language, video settings, ingame name... this this bullshit!
What i have to do? :(

I found out: The game creates no dayz.cfg since the last update.

I played dayz under .42, stop playing for some days. Buy a new graphiccard, install it, then update dayz.

Now: No config files will be created by the game. Thats why all the time i have only default settings

for me it doesn't save my mouse settings. I change my sensitivity but it doesn't save. Also might not save the values of my cfgs too. I changed the values of complexity and fps but noticed nothing ingame . With 0.37 i didnt have these problems

Thanks polyandras. Now I am sure that a problem since the last update. Thats why i chance now the topic. Its not a problem of my pc and the hardware.
Until now, i reinstalled the driver of my graphic card, new windows profil, reinstall dayz... all for nothink :S

Additional information: If i try to play on the pc at (my) home the game is able to load my char from the steam cloud. I made the check yesterday if my char is realy deleted, but it was okay. (Because i have no config file?...) ...dayZ is not loading my char here from the cloud, as i wrote it in the top.

Update: This happens with this update only, if your document-folder is not under c:\... Here the folder is redirected to a server (here i have a domain-user with local admin-rights).
I create a local-user with admin rights and test it and all is fine.

Good question.
The Problem was that the document-folder is redirected to an server-Folder \\vm-srv...
If i want to Play an this PC i Switch to an local account. If i Play on the local acc. it works fine.
I dosn't try it again as i find the way with the local acc.
So for me ist okay and it could be closed. If the issue is fixed, i don't know.
