Is the Courier Bag empty?

I tried it multiple ways:
Empty on the character.
Empty on the ground.
Full on ground.
Full on character.

None would allow the sticks to be used with the bag.

I was not able to craft improvised courier backpack from courier bag in last .58 stable.

Courier bag was empty, putting stick on bag did not brought option to craft improvised backpack. Maybe recipe has been changed?

Its not true, i could make it.. Maybe you had not enought woods

ive made 4 today havent had a problem making them

You need 3 sticks now - not just 1 ;)

I could not make one with 2 sticks. Perhaps the recipe changed to 3 as Cabbage suggests.

You need to have 3 sticks to craft improvised courier backpack.

I can verify that 3 sticks works.
