Game downscales resolution when set to 1680x1050
New, WishlistPublic

Description

When I have the GUI resolution set to 1680x1050, the resolution appears to be stuck at or around 800x600 while looking at the screen, but when taking a screenshot or recording video, the recorded video looks like its at the correct 1680x1050 resolution. This has been going on for the past month or so (or a bit more)

Additional Information

This may be a drivers issue, though I had the issue on ARMA 2 before and with a bunch of fiddling, I was able to eventually get it to work (and I have not touched the settings since then, roughly two years ago), but I have not had any success in DayZ. I'm fairly certain this issue came after a DayZ update since I was still running the AMD 13.8/13.9 drivers at the time, and has not gone away with the 14.1 and 14.2 beta drivers. I'm running this on a FX-8150 with a HD7950 and 16GB of RAM, so as far as I know, this shouldn't be a hardware issue

I was finally able to trick the game to letting me use my resolution
I had to go into windowed mode and stretch around the screen then pick the closest resolution to what I had and then join a server to get it exact
