I was able to create infinite splints with 6 Rags (pristine) and 1 Wooden Stick.
Wodden stick was in inventory, Rags were in Protector Case. When combined in inventory, they produced a splint, without using up the materials.
Semiproof: 3 Splints are visible, that have been crafted from the above mentioned items.
