Can you please confirm that pain meds will not help with removal of the shaking associated with taking damage?

Painkillers do nothing at the moment.

A splint or Morphine should make the notification go away even without a fracture.

Pain killers are not meant to fix this injury.

You have to either craft a splint or use a morphine injector to fix your bones and get rid of the pain notification.

Both work without a problem.
