My character randomly got his legs broken so I could only crawl. I wanted to respawn so I could start over with a fresh character but the option was greyed out. I crawled into the ocean in order to get myself killed so I could respawn again. Once I reached the ocean my character died a few seconds later but the respawn button was still greyed out and was not respawning automatically. So I tried switching servers, tried the servers that specify that my charater will be deleted if I join but nothing works. Whenever I join a server, my character falls under water with his legs broken, dies a few seconds later and I cannot respawn.

Additional Information
I tried the experimental version, logs in fine with a fresh character. If I go back to the stable branch I respawn under water again.

Almost 24 hours later problem persists, tried loggin in on servers that say that my character will be deleted but I sill spawn under water with the same character.

So I had the black screen saying "You are dead" but my character kept saying he was hungry and I could access my inventory. When you are really dead you cannot. I waited around 3 hours and my character of dehydration. After my inventory was no longer accessible the respawn button finally worked and I could start a new game.
