It happened all of a sudden, I was playing around with reloading and when I emptied the Mosin and tried to reload it again, it would only allow me to chamber it instead of fill it.

I painted the mosin before if that changes anything. But this is the first time and I haven't done anything special.

confirmed, i have only ever been able to chamber one round on the mosin and have therefore never carried one around long enough to paint it or add anything.
