Hi. I tried filling up an canteen with water. I succeded by a well after some 20 minuts. Now i tried filling it up by a pond/small lake. After 20 inuts i´m giving up.
The difficulty level of filling up the canteen is out of this world!

I had the same issue with pristine bottle and worn canteen. Never had it before the 32 update. Just found bottles today!

There's an issue with filling bottles and canteens if you are in 3rd person, Have you tried changing to first person?

Put the canteen in your hands, mousewheel, fill the bottle. voila. it should take 2 sec.

put the canteen in your hand, aproach the well, use the mouse scroll wheel (or whatever button you have to change selected action) to select "fill canteen", all done in about 10 seconds... hasn't changed from late dec when i started playing
