This doesn't make you sick, this notifies you that your sickness is leaving. This isn't a bug.

Confirmed. Don´t know if you can get sick by charcoal tablets in real life but I don´t think so.

Also they would be only useful if you have food poisoning, they would not help you if you have a foodborne infection. Foodborne infections can only be healed by antibiotics(or time :) ) while food poisoning can be stopped(not healed) by charchoals.
Would be awesome if both systems would be implemented since it´s unrealistic like it is at the moment.

you get sick in this game if you take alcohol tincture charcoal tabets or other medecin. then you get the status text that "your wounds look cleaner". when the text "my wounds are clean now" is shown then your sickness is away. that is something strange in this game this should be changed.

I had blurry vision and discoloration forever. I kept eating, drinking, running to digest and eat and eat and drink and drink. I took the charcoal tablets because I had enough of black and white vision and now I'm sick...
Would any of the devs finally explain how the hell the health/energy system works?
