Tested with M4 and FNX. All spare magazines full and placed inside a small protector case. Reloading the weapon gives a full magazine in the weapon, does not replace magazine inside protector case with partially spent magazine. Magazines inside protector case remain completely full.

Full magi n weapon. Full mag in Proector. Kiss kiss bang bang, reload. All magazines will still be full.

Noted this bug too, effects all pistol mags. Assume it'd work for M4 as well, SKS loaded clips, but not used those in a while.
