I had a long lived character, everything set up etc. You get the point, anyway I loaded into a new server, I was inside a one story residential home on the outskirts of Cherno. The server said at the bottom in red. Unable to load character, your character has been reset. Why does this occur? What steps will be taken to help prevent this? Instead of character reset if unload-able on the server give the player the option to exit server or attempt to re-load character and lastly a choice to reset/respawn.

I was in the house with a friend. He loaded seconds before me and was fine in the same server, we had almost identical gear/items.

Had the same issue, played on the same server for several sessions, logged in this morning and got the red text at the bottom saying unable to load character, resetting. Back to being a new spawn. This has only happened the once. Played when I got to work on the same server and carried on fine.

Same thing happened to me. After fully geared up, i quit near some trees and after i got back i'v received that message and respawned on the coast.
