No M4A1 Selector Switch Indicator
New, WishlistPublic

Description

Each time you log out or pick up a new weapon, the M4A1 reverts to full auto. There's no visual or aural indicator of the fire selector switch's position other than letting fly with a shot (or five).

Inspecting the weapon shows the switch on full auto permanently, regardless of what it's actually set to.

Whats the button for switching fire modes? Is it "T" ? Even if it is, it´s buggy as hell and not working properly atleast for me. Maybe it´s a server lag or something else, but sometimes it can take up to a minute until my firemode has been switched.

I second this, at least have a switch on the gun that you can look at and physically moves so you can just look down and check your fire mode

There's really no reason NOT to have an indicator - we have an indicator for "zeroing".

Of course an indicator for the different firemodes must be added. But an audible sound would be at least a step in the right direction. :)

Also by hitting T at first time you can go in semi auto mode but hitting the key again to go back to full auto it won't work

I agree that there needs to be a visual indicator to let you know which mode has been selected.
I managed to get the toggling working by changing the default configuration from T to 2xT. This allows the firing to toggle between full and semi auto, and seems to work consistently.

I strongly agree with notes above my note.

Either they add a visual setting beside the zeroing, or add in a new sound for it. Or maybe just an animation where you can see that you flipped the switch
