It's such a cool feature, shame not to have it. Makes cover so much more usable.

I dont like it. The animations does not look good enough imo, or so was my impression from Arma 3.
The stance adjustment in Arma III is brilliant. It would be great, especially for first person servers.
@Grumpy: Do you mean the character animations from 3DP view? Personally I think they're fine, and in either case not really a justification for leaving out such a useful feature.
Or do you mean something else?
I never liked how the character ran in Arma 3. The character animation for running looks much better imo in the standalone. Thus, this notion would become my justification for keeping the standalone animation.
I won't argue for any adjusted stance system in standalone, because I have to see something I like first. Imo there are so many other things that the game would need, that I am simply not impressed by having a adjustable stance system as such.
Also the rest of the animations in Arma 3 with regard to adjustable stance is clumsily made imho. It's like the animations plays out linearily and rushed or something like that.
I don't blame anyone for suggesting this, I just don't like it.
@Grumpy: Fair enough, and I actually agree that the running animation in SA is superior, but this wouldn't prevent me from wanting the feature. As soon as 1st person-only servers come out I'm heading straight over there anyway so I won't even be looking at my character.
@root: why so? The game mechanics are quite similar?
Stances are awesome, please implement it.
Now when u are prone you don't see nothing because of the grass, if you crouch you will be totally exposed, we need something in between.
Give some love to 1st person view!
