Might be Interesting what ur Router-Log says, if its a Problem of ur PC (DayZ might cause a Problem) or is the Router simply got Disconnected cause of X (See Router-Log)

I cannot reproduce. This sounds like a problem with your network and/or ISP. What kind of connection are you on? What model of router are you using?

Looks like an old router that fails to handle a burst of connections :)

Thank you for your feedback FireBreath.

Can anyone else confirm, that change of router solved the issue?

So I went one step further.. I still have my Cisco 3825, but I have disabled all firewall settings in it and changed it to a bridged connection (as opposed to "router").

I purchased a Netgear dual band N wifi router (with sexy gigabit ethernet).. and it now manages wifi in my home.

Fired up DayZ and hit refresh on the server browser about 20 times, something I could never do before.. and it is just fine now.

I still think it's something to do with the NAT table in the Cisco modem/router being unable to handle the large # of requests at once, and freezing up as it works through them. A recent standalone router/wifi solution would likely have a more powerful solution and bigger more robust NAT tables. (This puppy has a dual core 800mhz processor in it.. so not surprised that it doesn't get gummed up with requests.).

So... the issue can be fixed with better network hardware. Question is whether the requests in the server browser can be optimized so that lower end routers or router/modem combos can handle frequent refreshes?

If you have a cisco modem/router, switch off the built-in firewall ( SPI Firewall ), its a little tickbox

Happens to me with my Cisco 3825 modem/router.

Not exclusive to DayZ... though seems to happen very frequently relative to the low number of servers (compared to some other games).

I had that problem when i used Cisco 9325 Router ( or something like that ) that i got from my ISP provider. Now i asked them to switch it to simple modem and i connected ZyXEL as router and problem is gone. So i guess is more like Your WAN/LAN issue then something wrong with DAY Z.

I used to get a problem with DayZ commander when loading server list it would lag out the other connections on my PC (100 Down 25+ up) It would disconnect me from team speak and also block any other computers in the house from working online.

If you have a slow internet connection then you are litterally flooding your router and it causes itself to reset to protect itself. If you're in the US then you will need to set your filter settings to a low ping and select how many players on a server to a max. This will load the servers quick and stop the disconnects for now.

Please let us know in note section if you are still able to reproduce this issue in latest Development build.

If so, please send us DxDiag and files from this folder: "C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\"

Can you pack the files in winrar and upload it somewhere?
When the *.rar will be smaller than 2.097k, you can attach it here. Thank you.
